Recently, an article in Scientific American (the esteemed scientific
journal) reveal the results of a breakthrough medical discovery.
For the past several decades, medical doctors believed that
they knew the process that created heart disease. In May scientists
from Columbia University (among other renowned scientists) revealed
that the medical community had been wrong about how heart disease
develops.
These scientists discovered that heart disease begins with an
immune system failure. Scientists have found that six particular
bacteria and viruses can be found in the arterial walls that
could stimulate this immune system response. These six bacterium
were Hepatitis A, Herpes, H. Pylori, Virus 1 & 2, Cytomegali,
and Chlamydia pneumonia. An infection in the walls of the artery
can trigger
i) an immune reaction that sends monocytes and macrophages into
the walls of the arteries. Once inside the arteries the immune
system secretes chemical that create ii) inflammation. Inflammation
creates foam cells that can create heart disease.
iii) Mutated (or modified) cholesterol can create the same immune
system reaction that will lead to inflammation and heart disease.
Macrophages consume the cholesterol in an attempt to control
its damage. The inflammation interacts with the macrophages
in forming foam cells. This study revealed that cholesterol
actually builds up inside the walls of the arteries instead
of in the actual blood channel. The cholesterol explodes into
the channel instead of building up, as a stopped up drain would
slowly clog.

people who prefer this chewable form compared with the gelatin

Bock shared some key words/concepts:
"Cellular immunity - our T cells, NK cells etc - they speak
to each other much like Neural cells."
Also Dr Bock sees in his patients, tremendous increase in cases
of asthma in particular. In general a "TH 2 skewed immune response".
Eczema, Autism (regression in 15- 18 months), allergies, chronic
hepatitis, etc are other examples from this TH2 skew.
